The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica is built around the kind of days that rarely go exactly as planned. School runs turn into grocery stops. Weekend drives need more bags than expected. Someone always wants a different seat. The Pacifica handles all of that with flexible seating, useful technology and enough comfort to make longer drives feel easier. It is also proudly assembled in Canada from globally sourced parts, which gives this family van an extra connection to home.
For 2027, Chrysler has refreshed the Pacifica rather than completely changing it. The new model gets a redesigned front fascia, an illuminated grille, updated LED lighting and fresh wheel designs. Inside, new colours and materials give each trim more personality.

The V6 Keeps Family Trips Moving

Every 2027 Pacifica uses a 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 with Engine Stop Start technology. It produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb ft of torque and works with a nine speed automatic transmission. That gives the Pacifica enough power for everyday driving while still feeling smooth around town.
Fuel economy can be as low as 8.4 L/100 km on the highway in properly equipped models. Front wheel drive versions are rated as low as 12.4 L/100 km in the city, while AWD models are rated at 14.1 L/100 km in the city and 9.4 L/100 km on the highway. The fuel tank holds 71.9 litres.

Alberta Weather Makes AWD Worth a Look

All wheel drive is available on the Pacifica and standard on specific AWD configurations. The system is designed to help improve grip by automatically sending torque where it is needed. That can be useful when roads around Okotoks turn snowy, wet or icy during the colder months.
Electronic Stability Control also comes into play when conditions get rough. The system monitors vehicle stability and can adjust braking and throttle input to help the driver stay in control. It works quietly in the background, which is exactly where good driving technology belongs.

Stow ’n Go Still Solves Real Family Problems

Few features define the Pacifica as well as Stow ’n Go seating. Available second row Stow ’n Go seats can fold into the floor instead of needing to be removed. The third row can fold flat as well. With both rows down, the Pacifica opens up to as much as 3,979 litres of cargo room.
Chrysler says the Pacifica can offer as many as 243 seating and storage configurations when properly equipped. That means the cabin can change quickly depending on whether you are carrying passengers, luggage, sports equipment or something bulky from the hardware store. Second row Stow ’n Go is not offered on Pinnacle models.
An available Stow ’n Vac system adds a built in vacuum with a 3.5 metre retractable hose. It is standard on Pinnacle and available on Limited through the Family Tech Group. Anyone who has ever found crushed snacks buried between minivan seats will understand why that feature exists.

The New Look Is Easy to Spot

The 2027 refresh brings several visible changes. A new front fascia and illuminated front grille give the Pacifica a sharper face. Chrysler has also added new LED projector headlamps, updated wheels with new centre caps and an enhanced rear lightbar. A lit applique of the updated Chrysler logo adds another modern touch.
Select models keep things clean with LED lighting, an illuminated grille, rear camera washer and power sliding doors and liftgate as standard equipment. Limited moves up with features such as a dual pane sunroof, new fade on and fade off front LED lighting, 18 inch Foreshadow Black wheels and Nappa leather upholstery.
Pinnacle takes the luxury approach further with Blue Agave Nappa leather, Tungsten Patina piping and Copper alloy accent bezels. It also adds its own exterior trim and polished details.

Screens That Help Keep Everyone Occupied

A 25.6 cm Uconnect 5 touchscreen sits at the centre of the cabin. It gives drivers access to multimedia and connected features through a large clear display. Wireless phone connectivity is also included on the model lineup.
Families can add the refreshed Family Tech Group, which brings features such as the available 19 speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system, FamCAM interior camera, third row USB charging and available Stow ’n Vac.
The available Theatre Group adds 25.4 cm HD rear touchscreens along with Amazon Fire TV built in when the necessary connection and subscriptions are active. A dual screen Blu ray player and USB video port are also available. It is the kind of technology that can make a long Alberta road trip feel much shorter from the second row.

A Few Extra Eyes Can Make Parking Easier

The 2027 Pacifica offers an available 360 degree Surround View Camera that provides a view around the vehicle. Available ParkSense Front Park and Rear Assist with Stop can use cameras and sensors to help when manoeuvring into tighter spaces. It can also apply the brakes if the system detects a potential collision.
One of the new features for 2027 is available ParkSense based camera activation. When the rear parking sensors detect an obstacle, the camera can automatically activate so the driver can see what caused the warning.
Another new available feature is Turn Signal Activated Blind Spot View. When you signal, a camera mounted in the exterior mirror can display the blind spot area on the Uconnect touchscreen. Drivers still need to check mirrors and surroundings themselves, but the extra view can be helpful in busy traffic.

Safety Tech Is Part of the Family Focus

Full Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking can warn the driver of a possible collision ahead. The system can also apply the brakes and bring the vehicle to a stop in certain situations.
Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go can automatically adjust vehicle speed to maintain a selected following distance from the vehicle ahead. Rear Cross Path Detection can provide visual and audible alerts when traffic approaches from the sides while reversing.
These systems are designed to assist the driver rather than take over the job. Careful driving and attention to changing road conditions remain essential.

It Can Tow More Than You Might Expect

The Pacifica may be focused on family life, but it still has useful pulling power. When properly equipped, maximum towing capacity reaches 1,633 kg. That can make it suitable for smaller recreational trailers or other weekend equipment.
Power sliding doors and an adjustable height liftgate also help with the everyday stuff. Available hands free sliding doors and liftgate can be opened by moving a foot underneath the appropriate area, which is handy when both hands are already carrying bags.

What Changed From the 2026 Pacifica?

The 2027 Pacifica is a meaningful refresh rather than a full redesign. The basic strengths remain familiar. You still get the 3.6 litre V6, available AWD, Stow ’n Go versatility and the Uconnect 5 system.
The difference is in the details. The 2027 model adds a new front fascia, illuminated grille, new wheels, updated LED headlamps and an enhanced rear lightbar. New interior materials arrive across the lineup, while refreshed Family Tech and Theatre packages bring updated entertainment options. Turn Signal Activated Blind Spot View and ParkSense based camera activation are also new available safety additions.

Come See Why a Minivan Can Still Be the Smart Choice

The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica does not try to make family life look glamorous. It simply makes a lot of the messy parts easier. There is room for people, space for cargo and technology that helps take some stress out of everyday driving.
