The Jeep E-Bike is an off-road electric mountain bike featuring 4.8" fat tires, a RockShox rear suspension and an inverted front suspension fork. This bike will be a force of power capable to go for 64km on a single charge. Jeep claims that the disk break e-bike will feature a 750 watt electric motor, which would make it one of the highest-torque electric bicycle motors on the market.
The Jeep E-Bike has been designed in collaboration with QuietKat and is expected to launch in June, 2020.
Jeep introduces a new North Edition lineup for the Jeep family, because we all know the struggles of Canadian winters and the necessities we need to rely on should be with us at all times. That is why Jeep equipped the North Editions with standard winter-ready features and best 4x4 capability so that it is easier to tackle those frosty commutes.
Jim Morrison, Head of the Jeep Brand in North America, said of the new lineup, “When winter weather hits, your Jeep SUV can be your best friend. Every Jeep 4×4 is engineered to easily tackle winter, and our new North Editions add features and technology to make winter driving even more of a pleasure.”
These standard features are as follows:
On the outside, North Edition models boast Jeep’s famous, all-weather 4×4 capability thanks to anti-lock brakes, traction control, and brake lock differential. Plus, they sport all-terrain tires for maximum traction in slick conditions. In addition to tow hooks, North Edition models come standard with the Jeep Trail Rated Kit, which includes a tow strap, D-rings, carabiners, gloves, and a safety kit. These special-edition models also boast power heated mirrors that won’t fog up when the temperature drops.
The North Edition is available on the Gladiator, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler.-->
When a Jeep sports the Trail Rated Badge, we know that means that it has been tested and put through challenging obstacles in some of the toughest off-roading terrain to earn that badge. Now, Jeep has expanded their off-roading capabilities by adding another badge to it’s portfolio; The Desert Rated Badge, for Jeeps that are ready to tackle the harshest of desert and sand terrain. Just like the Rubicon is the pinnacle of Trail Rated Jeeps, the all-new Gladiator & Wrangler Mojave will be the top Desert Rated Jeep you can get!
The features that distinguish The Mojave are the bright orange trim inside and out. The front seats are upgraded to hold the driver and passenger in place, and they’re trimmed with orange accent stitching. A Steel Gray interior, meant to keep seats cool so that your seats do not cook in the sun.
Just like the Rubicon, Mojave is equipped with the only powertrain choice so far, the 3.6L Pentastar v-6 engine with 285 hp, and a standard 6-speed manual transmission, or an available 8-speed automatic transmission.
Other features proving the Desert Rated capability is the added Fox 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks, with front and rear shock reservoirs to keep them cool. Fox front hydraulic jounce bumpers are also fitted; they help provide additional damping for ripping through the desert. To make room for the suspension upgrades, the Gladiator's wheelbase has been lengthened by a half an inch and raised an inch in the front. Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires are standard for the black 17-inch wheels, but the Mojave can be had with Wildpeak mud-terrain tires as well.
As on the Gladiator Rubicon, the Mojave is equipped with a forward-facing off-road camera. The Mojave's Off-Road Plus driving mode, which will make its debut later in the year, includes the ability to lock the rear axle while in 4H. That's something the Rubicon doesn't have.
If you’re one who craves the best off-roading experience, then look no further because the Mojave is designed for all your sandy beach fun and dune-bashing days!-->
